This Privacy Policy explains how The Axiom App ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with the Axiom marketing platform and related websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") available at theaxiomapp.com and app.theaxiomapp.com.

Axiom is a marketing platform for licensed real‑estate professionals. It helps agents create property marketing materials — including Single Property Websites, listing videos, and social‑media posts — and publish them to channels the agent connects, such as TikTok.

1. Who we are

When you connect a third‑party account (for example, TikTok), we receive limited information from that service as described in Section 5, including an account identifier, basic profile details (such as display name and avatar), the permissions (scopes) you grant, and authorization tokens that allow us to act on your behalf at your direction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the data obtained through social‑media integrations for advertising or profiling.

Where required by law, we process personal information on the basis of: performing our contract with you (providing the Service); your consent (for example, when you connect a social account or choose to post); our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Service); and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Social‑media integrations (including TikTok)

The Service lets you connect your own social‑media accounts so you can publish your property marketing content to them. Our use of information received from these platforms complies with each platform’s developer terms and policies. For TikTok specifically:

5.1 What we access

When you connect your TikTok account, you are redirected to TikTok to sign in and approve access. We request the following permissions (scopes):

user.info.basic To confirm and display which TikTok account is connected (for example, your display name and avatar).
video.publish To upload and publish the specific listing videos you choose, to your own TikTok account.

From TikTok we receive: your TikTok account identifier (open_id, and where applicable union_id), basic profile information (display name and avatar URL), the scopes you granted, and OAuth access and refresh tokens.

5.2 How we use it

We never receive your TikTok password. While our application is undergoing TikTok’s review, posts created through the Service are set to a private (self‑only) visibility.

5.3 How we store and protect it

Authorization tokens and connection details are kept in an access‑controlled datastore, are not exposed through our public interfaces, and are transmitted only over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Refresh tokens are rotated and replaced according to TikTok’s requirements.

5.4 How to disconnect or delete it

Your use of TikTok is also governed by TikTok’s own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. The same principles in this section apply to other social platforms you may connect in the future.

6. How we share information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share information obtained via social‑media integrations except as necessary to provide the feature you requested.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period as required to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Social‑media connection data is retained until you disconnect the account or request its deletion, after which authorization tokens are revoked and removed in the ordinary course.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can also:

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and restricted handling of authorization credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third‑party services & links

The Service integrates with and may link to third‑party services (such as TikTok). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties.

11. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for licensed real‑estate professionals and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International users

We operate in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data‑protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
